“We spent some very nice days here. The hotel is located in a quiet side street and has a beautiful garden in the courtyard. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and highly recommended. Nearby is the branch of the ferry, which takes you well and cheaply to the other side of the river.”

“We stayed at El Nakhil for a week and were really impressed with what it had to offer. The Hotel was exceptionally clean and restful with very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant. We were in room 14 with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The pet tortoises were fun to watch and the shower was powerful and hot when washing off the dust. It was a great place to come back to after tramping around the antiquities all day and I unreservedly recommend it and the restaurant.”

“The Nakhil Hotel is a great place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the public ferry. The rooms are spotless, the sheets are clean, and there's air conditioning. We paid €35 ​​per night for 2 people (breakfast included). The hotel pool is great! The staff is very welcoming and can arrange all excursions (Valley of the Kings, hot air balloon rides, felucca, transfers to Aswan, etc.) at a fair price.”
